It took me a long time to get back to the place where I actually wanted to cr8joi at Christmas. But I’m baaaaaack! I am Mrs. Cr8 and I’m happy to say that this year I’m back to being more like myself. I’m the Queen of redesigning on a dime and working with the things I already have. But this year, I’m in the holiday spirit so I added some new items to our decor. This Santa canvas by C Mccroan Art is such a festive addition. While, the nativity set I found on sale at Hobby Lobby is now one of my most prized possessions. It took me a very long time to find an African American baby Jesus!
There are quite a few corners of the house that are dripping with holiday decor. Here are a few of my faves:

The DIY ornament garlands we made, turned the hand-me-down ornaments into all-stars!
We saw the Nutcracker this year. Found these two figurines at Target (in the holiday section) and the sleigh (in the Target Dollar Spot). I shoved it in the tree with some ornaments. And waaaa-laaahhh!
The Girl’s Christmas Decor
The girl got a tree upgrade this year. Her $5 pink tree from last year is now Christmas tree for the 18 inch dolls. This pre-lit white Christmas tree from Dollar General was $15. The ornaments and items on the tree are things we already had or random shopping finds from my favorite stores (Target, Dollar General, Dollar Tree, and of course Home Goods). The girl is so excited about her tree. We are too. This unicorn tree is really making Christmas extra magical!

The holiday reading nook is so cozy while Santa works on something new for this space. It is purposely filled with Christmas and Winter books, and of course holiday stuffies.
